DLH Blog: Pac punches as hard as Mosley and Vargas

This is what bothers me about these allegations. Pac has managed to maintain his power while going up in weight but people are becoming short sighted in thinking that his power is actually freakish. He's beating people up by accumulation. This is something he's always been known for, nothing new here folks.

The times he's been able to knock people down or completely out, the punches that did the trick, were right on the button and the recipient never saw them coming in. They weren't straight up neck-snapping shots, they were well timed and placed shots. Manny's technique and overall skills have improved over the last few years. People seem to be forgetting this.

With all these so called experts on this board, it sure is surprising to see that the majority of accusers and so simple minded and quick to call him a cheat while completely dismissing what is going on in the ring.

De La Hoya is a genius. Built a fortune doing what other can only imagine. He will take over boxing with his production company and take Top Rank and Don King to the pastures. He is doing what all great promoters do...promote. If he is not a genius, why are people up early creating posts about him and his quotes? Don King advertised that Mayorga knocked out a horse. Do you know how strong of a jaw a horse has? The jaw alone could knock you out. But it is what they are supposed to do. Hype the fight.

Exactly, it was like oscar vs chavez, with oscar on the other side this time. Oscars a smart guy, but I seriously doubt he is saying truthfully that pac hits as hard as vargas, no way.

I'm with you on that but it's the Supreme Crackhead leading his willing sheep. Rather than really acknowledge how good Pac has become and deal with it like men (in the ring), they would rather run a smear campaign and have an excuse ready should the fight never happen or should Pac come out victorious. This **** is ruining the sport...

it's funny 'cause oscar may have whupped margarito. better style matchup. he'd still be at the top of boxing, probably with another super-fight against mayweather coming down the pipe.
