    De La Hoya: Canelo’s Gonna Walk Right Through Charlo [In May], Canelo-Munguia In September

    Oscar De La Hoya hopes Jaime Munguia can challenge Canelo Alvarez as soon as possible.

    Munguia’s co-promoter and Alvarez’s former promoter predicted late Saturday night, though, that he expects Alvarez to fight Jermall Charlo on May 4. If Alvarez indeed faces another Charlo twin in his next pay-per-view main event, “The Golden Boy” believes the undisputed super middleweight champion will dominate Jermall Charlo as easily as Alvarez defeated his brother, Jermell, to set up an all-Mexican showdown with Munguia in September.

    I want the Benevidez fight just as much as the next man, but Munguia would be a good fight as well.

    Disgraceful if true. Clenelo would rather smear himself in blood and swim in shark-infested waters than ever step foot in a ring with the #2 in his division Benavidez or that other hungry young lion Morrell both of whom would beat Mung into a semi-conscious heap in 3 or 4 rounds. The fight everyone wants to see at 168 is Clenelo vs Benavidez and it has been for years. #1 vs #2. Why don't you put Mung in with boogeyman Morrell, Oscar, and see how that works out for him and leave Clenelo to face his greatest threat and the #2 ranked SMW Benavidez? You'll find out real quick how it will work out. Like in 3 rounds absolute max quick.

    This is a duck.

    Plain and simple.

    Charlo is ducking Zoo, Canelo is ducking Benavidez.

    The other divisions seem ok at the moment but these two are blatant ducks now. Which is exactly why we need one champion per division. It's hugely spotlit that Benavidez and Zoo are being ducked by the divisional champions, where ass Bivol and Beterbiev have his in plain sight for 7 years.
