would you say moonvez representing mayweather because moonvez is liked by arum and they have a past friendship is a big factor over mayweather working with arum who have a very shaky relationship and obvious hate for eachother?

do you think moonvez also talked bob arum down from the whole roadblocks?

im not saying moonvez didnt have a huge part in negotiations im sure he did but to say his huge part was finally delivering floyd like he thats all pacs side was waiting for is kind of silly given how many roadblocks arum himself put up over the years

    Floyd: I am the boss
Moonves: Sure? whether you like it or not, you have to fight Pacquiao
    Floyd: Ok

Floyd was in a no win situation. If he didn't fight Pac he'd be mocked for the rest of his life. The last two PPV's on his contract would have tanked miserably due to public backlash

He had no leverage with Showtime. The Maidana fights apparently lost the network money. Anybody other than Pacquiao and Showtime would have lost even more money. Floyd was in no position to negotiate another opponent other than Manny.
