    Hopkins he's going to say.

Of course, I don't think Hopkins or Pacquiao qualify as "highly suspect" at all. It takes more than a person with a grudge and a microphone to create genuine suspicion, and I don't see any with either of them.

Not highly suspect to me. If a chick I never met filed a paternity suit against me demanding I subject myself to a DNA test to prove I'm not her child's father, I would refuse just on pure principle. I couldn't bring myself to dignify something I know I'm innocent of by even indulging the accusation. I get the mentality - it's a matter of pride and ego, and I won't be dictated to like I'm guilty when I know I'm not.

That's not suspect behavior, that's prideful behavior. And it's no different than, say, being accused of not being born in your native country when you know you were. You're going to resist any efforts to dignify the accusation, even when you know it's an easy thing to release the birth certificate.

Of course, these things have a habit of gaining traction over time, and I think with both Obama and Pacquiao, when people who were mainstream started asking questions, it forced their hands. The birthers were (mostly) shut up this month, and Pacquiao has agreed to testing without cut-offs. That should remove the "suspicion".
