trust me Ricky went back to his "old ways" that what cost him the fight. If he had did what Mayweather Sr said by boxing and moving his head and giving angles the fight would have benn competative and up for grabs.

    you've completely missed the point.

You think hiring a crack head as a new coach is professional?

and i do think it was unprofessional to have negative feelings towards billy graham becuase that is Hatton using graham as an excuse for his own shortcomings.

To be professional you have to stick with the same coach your entire career? :nut even if you dont know boxing, use some common sense at least..

Oscar has been acting like an angry child over the subject of Pacquiao for weeks now.

He's trying to smile it off, but the "he retired you" comments are grating on him.

Since when is Ricky his son?

No, I think you missed it.

When a boxer losses confidence in his coach he has to go, that's a no brainer.

So who does Hatton turn to? Mayweather Sr, he once trained the bloke that completely tore him appart. Obviously Hatton has watched footage of PBF, how he moved etc and thought, 'I could do with a bit of that.'

I'm not saying he was a great choice but I don't think anyone can take the bulldozer style out of Hatton. Graham would have failed too.

If almost a year with Mayweather wasn't going to convince him to move his head, throw a jab, and use smart aggression, nothing was.

The more it sinks in how good Manny has become, the more it seems moot anyhow.

A Leopard doesn't change it spots when faced with pressure and Hatton Instinctively acted as he normally would out of his natural instincts which is to steam forward with his hands down, trying to land punches whilst getting hit flush in his ****ing face.

This **** has nothing to do with Floyd Senior. A trainer can give you the instruction manual but if you fail to use or read or study it then what is the point.

Floyd Senior is not to blame but one thing what I found strange was the fact that he was doing orthodox pads with Ricky. I would of thought that it would of been in Ricky's favour to do it as a southpaw considering Manny is one.

Not totally on his side, but not against him either. Look, Mayweather Sr. is in constant demand as a trainer. Ask Oscar. Everyone want's to learn Mayweather's style of defense that his son his nearly perfected. Mayweather was also one hell of a fighter in his day too.

ricky's hands never went above his chest, he was dropping his right when throwing a left jab (schoolboy error!! for **** sake). Sr said to him between rnds 1 and 2, 'you're not doing what we talked about'. He tried his usual tactics of roughing an opponent up and getting inside...i thought it weathered the storm a bit!! until the last second
