Actually I will be cheering for a Pacquiao victory. My question is why is this fight extraordinarily special when DLH is really just mediocre?

if you want to say that DLH started out at 130 to justify it, its still a 5 division difference from where manny did....

manny pac- pro debut 106 pounds!
    DLH pro debut 134 pounds.
DLH fought as a light weight his first 11 fights and just drained himself to fight at junior light weight so he can get a cheap wbo title

    light fly (pacquio)
    fly
    super fly
    bantam
    super bantam
    featherweight
junior light weight (de la hoya)

so point being...DLH is picking on a naturally little guy, whether now...or during their pro debuts

    :deal

I totally disagree with this fight but in ODH defense he has fought all greats in that time period

Yes, but it was Manny/Roach who chased this fight. If Manny gets laid out its his own fault. Not that I agree with the fight or think its a square deal, but if Manny gets smacked around he deserves it. Then we can see Manny fight some legitimate fights at 135 maybe. Because if Manny or Hoya win the winner would most likely fight Hatton next.
