i know hes had stamina probelms i said early in his career he didnt...... i already know he has stamina issues
Oh and are you sure it has nothing to do with GBP affiliation with roids, racism, raqueteering, and risque behavior?
Since Oscar has been a once a year fighter, he's had TWO fights. Mayorga and Mayweather. His stamina problems were well before 2006.
It might be but i still don't wanna see the **** he's going to beat the **** out of Delahoya this go round which i don't think is reallly necessary since he clearly beat him the first time but for the bread...i guess
Floyd clearly beat him the first fight so there is no use for the rematch. However, Oscar still has more left in the tank than people give him credit for.
Early in his career he was knocking guys out more often. THAT is why he was called a good closer, NOT because he was so fresh in the 12th.
You would change the entire history of boxing if you dissallowed rematches based upon one clear loss. Joe Frazier clearly beat Ali in the first fight..... Eric Morales clearly beat Pacquiao in the first fight.... Roberto Duran clearly beat Sugar Ray Leonard in the first fight... Both Rahman and McCall clearly beat Lennox Lewis in the first fights... The New England Patriots beat the Giants earlier this season.... The mere fact that we even have the word "UPSET" in our vocabulary is the same reason we have rematches. If both Floyd and Oscar think they can do better than they did the last time, it might be a whole different (more entertaining) fight between them.
I look at this like this: OF COURSE OSCAR WANTS A REMATCH!!! And all of us would want one too if we dropped a split decision to a guy who is almost univerally recoginzed as p4p #1 in the world. What if Qscar manage to pull out a win? Wouldn't that be one hell of a way to close out a great career? Boo
That was at the end when Mayweather decided to brawl. He wanted to prove he could stand up to Oscar's power and he did. :deal
