He's lost 3/5 officially and if you include the Sturm fight, 4/5 of his last fights have been losses with Mayorga providing the sole win.

There's no shame in losing to Mosely, B-Hop and PBF. But even a GREAT fighter needs confidence, and needs a tune-up to keep his skills sharp.

As little of a challenge as this may be, real boxing fans know that facing an easier opponent is just part of the game.

Also, Forbes is handpicked due to his small size, low power, and being a the end of his career; DLH is just learning now to do what Bob Arum did while bringing him along by facing hand-picked opponents.

If you consider Sturm a loss, you have to consider Mosley II a win.

Oscar needs boxing like Mayweather needs an ego boost.

He can ride off into the five years between pulling the pin and his ascendance into the HOF and be still pulling in more money a year than the HW division combined from his other business interests.

DLH is doing what all great fighters do, fighting the best no excuses.

Ali, SLR, Hearns, all great fighters even when past their prime go after the young lions no problem, Floyd is a fraud in that he goes after paydays, instead of maintaining the legacy of a great fighter.

he should just hang em up. he has nothing left to prove. imo he was able to prove to boxing fans that if he fought mayweather during his prime he will win convincingly via wide UD.

Ray Leonard, when past his prime, was criticized for not going after the younger champs like Michael Nunn and going for the big paydays in aging fighters like Roberto Duran, a supposedly shot Tommy Hearns, and the debacle with the WBC allowing his fight with Donny Lalonde to be for both the 168 and 175 lb. titles and Ray demanding Lalonde shrink down below his weight class.
