Then produce a few reliable journalistic sources.

    I found this one:

    http://www.cbc.ca/sports/story/2008/12/05/boxing-weights.html

Says "Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao made weight with room to spare on Friday in Las Vegas for their highly anticipated megafight.

De La Hoya weighed 145 pounds, two under the contractual limit for the bout. Pacquiao weighed 142."

Anyone willing to bet it was 145 is clearly deluded.

    I also found this one:

    http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=3634701

Says, "Freddie Roach, who trained De La Hoya for his fight against Floyd Mayweather and has been training Pacquiao, says that De La Hoya gained 10 pounds after weighing in at 154 to face Mayweather. Roach expects a similar gain on Dec. 6; maybe more because Oscar will be drying out more to make the contract weight of 147 pounds."

 WOW!! Thanks for showing how ****in stupid you are. All you did was give MORE PROOF on the 147.

"After Cotto was defeated by Margarito, it was announced that De La Hoya and Pound For Pound superstar Manny Pacquiao had agreed to fight December 6, 2008 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas at the welterweight limit of 147 lbs."

using wikipedia BTW? And editable source? Nice try loser....

Anyone who thinks the fight was at 147 is seriously a fool, in negotiations with Arum it's always give and take, De La Hoya got his last pay day against arguably the best fighter in the world, who also btw was also getting paid off of Manny Pacquaio fights; please believe Arum demanded the fight be at 145, and when Oscar agreed they pounced at it.

Doubters seriously, You ask yourself this question, if Arum was so reluctant of putting Floyd in the ring with Oscar, why would they agree to a Pac vs De La Hoya fight with "seemingly" no disagreements, or usual Arum road blocks:deal
