    Its Saul Alvarez.

Think about it. Decent looking kid who already gets huge turnouts in his fights so he brings the most important demographic. Latinos and has a fan friendly style. Just needs to work on a few things and he will be ready for the elite. I'm thinking this will be PBFs last fight. I know golden boy has already thought about this fight and will schedule it in PBFs return. Expect Saul Alvarez to start fighting washed up PPV guys soon like Cotto Judah and Mosley.

Also I think if Ortiz comes back strong that's a fight that golden boy will build up and would be a megafight.

seems hard to get to the OLDH-FMJ-MP level of PPV stardom without actually beating a big draw. Floyd and Manny are amazing fighters but they both had to beat Oscar before their fame skyrocketed. And they had to have something extra to go along with beating Oscar because obviously just beating Oscar isn't enough by itself . For Floyd it was his persona outside the ring, big mouth and unbeaten record (and to a smaller extend his weight jumping). For Manny it was his dramatic weight jumping and extremely exciting and explosive style.

For a fighter now to reach the level of popularity of those 3 w/o getting some major attention from beating another superstar, they have to have great charisma, an exciting style to watch and a lot of weight jumping as well. They have to be the epitome of a pound for pound champion by moving up in weight and kicking ass along the way. Oscar was the most complete with the charisma, pleasing fighting style and weight jumping. Floyd has his villain persona and weight jumping, but not much of a pleasing style for casual fans (so he needed to beat oscar for that extra push into stardom). Manny has the exciting style and weight jumping, but not much in the way of charisma (so he too needed to beat oscar for that extra push)

Alvarex definitely has the goods skillwise, but lets face it, the kid looks kind of like an albino. He doesn't exactly have a marketable look, I don't know about his prospects as a PPV star.

David Haye and Devon Alexander if they keep winning in style can be PPV stars.

Alvarez might need a tan but, albino:think

He has a slight resemblance to Brad Pitt and from what I've read he already
has girls throwing their panties at him. Bringing women back into the sport
like DLH did, goes a long way into helping you become a huge star.

But the question still stands, Does he become the next DLH or the next Bojado?

When DLH retired we were told there was no more stars, the sport would die and the days of 1 mil PPV buys was over.

The sport will find other stars.

Only big star in waiting is David Haye and only if (and it's a big if) he can topple Wlad.
