Bingo. He knows he could fight anyone under any circumstances and it will make huge money.

I think it would be interesting to know Oscar's motivation for the fight. Maybe he truely thinks he gave something back to the sport by beating Forbes. Now maybe he wants to go out with a win against the P4P#1 regardless of the circumstances under which the win comes.

DLH deserves a lot of blame, but I think HBO should get its fair share of credit for pushing this silly matchup.

Antonio Margarito claimed Floyd Mayweather was ducking him for fighting the likes of Hoya and Hattton, not top welters, but bigger money fights. He then beats Cotto and calls out Delahoya and ignores the other top welters. Is he that dumb or does he think his fans like Lance and Ambition are?????

Oscar has a storied career of fighting the best possible opponents. The guy started at 135lbs and moved all the way up to fight B-Hop at middle. B-Hop is a natural Lt Heavy! How quickly we forget though right. Delahoya is now way past his prime, he is really irrelevant in any one weight class, so why all the fuss???? Why do you care so much what he does Lance? If he wants to fight some circus show match with Manny Pac and a bunch of people want to pay for it....then whats your problem with that??? When Mike Tyson was fighting McBride and Williams did you ask if he's that dumb or if his fans are? No because it was agreed that he wasn't really in the game anymore and wasn't a REAL threat at Heavyweight. Give Oscar the same courtesy, unless you feel Oscar is still very relevant in the sport????? :think :think :think

Who is the real problem here: Oscar for cashing out after his career is already finished? Or Margarito and Pac for ignoring their legacies and the real deserving challengers in the middle of their careers to make an extra buck?????

The real problem here is Oscar wanting to fight midgets.

Margos going to be around for a while, Oscar would be a pot of gold in the middle of the rainbow, I don't blame him for going after it.

Pacquaio on the other hand is just cashing in obviously.

You decide which is more respectable.

If he wants an easy fight he ought to pick a German. No heart, no balls and no guts, hence the **** poor showing in Beijing. :good

Pac is actually younger than Margo and hasn't been fighting as long. So why is Pac cashing out and not Margo?

how is everyone so sure the PPV will cost $65?

the most I've seen an HBO PPV for was $54.95

why would HBO and DLH be that dumb to bump up the price tag THAT much?

just curious as IMO the $65 price tag is more of a guess then anything.

HBO and DLH would be happy to strap on a Golden Dildo and **** up all the fans, for 69.95 if they need to. Oscar de la Hoya is a greedy POS.
