Difference being that Pavlik is HUGE, even for a middleweight. Oscar is a small Jr. Middle, who is more natural at Welterweight. Manny comes into the ring at about that weight anyways. On fight night, I would be suprised if Oscar and Manny were more than 5-6 pounds apart. I think that people are really overexaggerating the size difference here. Oscar is taller... but Manny has been filling out with some serious bulk.... and carrying it very well.

Regarding DLH wanting or thinking about facing PAC....it's about money! It's a fairly easy fight...or DLH and his Camp think so and it's a LOT less risky than Margarito.

But you shouldn't knock this fight. It's just like DLH stepping up to face BHop or Strum...or Jones vs Ruiz, or Ray Robinson vs maxim. For yrs the smaller men tested themselves against the bigger men.

DLH is catching **** for this fight only b/c we are use to DLH fighting competition that is more on a level palying field. This fight seems to be a mismatch to fans.

I honestly think DLH was thinking about facing the Marg vs Cotto winner but after seeing the fight had a change of heart. I won't buy it bc I dont think it will be worth it, but I will catch the replay....or go to one of my boys homes who will buy.

Yes we know DLH fighting Manny Pacquiao is not the greatest of choices though its the safest of choices, the man is on his way out why shouldnt he take an easier fight that makes him the most money?
I mean all to often we ***** and moan when a fighter sticks around too long and fights one of these big young guys, suddenly when DLH makes the right choices for his health its a bad thing? forget about that Manny wants this fight just as much as Oscar so let it happen.
if DLH wins it wont mean much other than he beat the smaller P4P king, and adds to his resume when you look back on it he would have fought his last to fights againts the sports very best.
to be honest with you I think its a good fight, better than people think DLH at his advanced age Manny being a lefty with sick speed and some good power DLH has had trouble with guys like Manny to me it wont be an easy fight for Oscar not at this age.

I could care less about the fight itself. I am more interested in the negotiations. I want Oscar and Schaefer to either "say Uncle" or I want them to disappointedly be forced to pick someone else.
