I recall a certain article in which DLH himself had said that Pacquiao was too small for him and deemed that fight as "ridiculous".

If I was ODLH I would pick the big name low risk to have my final fight and that is PAC. Let's see how PAC behaves against Diaz but I think that 147 it's too big for PAC to handle.

A fight between ODLH and Cotto would be a masacre for Oscar at this point. I can only imagine Cotto hamering Oscar's old body and that doesn't look good for his health. I don't think that Oscar has much of a punch power at this point and once Cotto knows it he will go after him like a young lion.

Remember also that DLH's wife requested DLH not to fight a Puerto-rican. If I were DLH I will pick the smaller Pac too. I want to retire with less damage.

Maybe Pac can take Hatton is September then take DLH in December. If Pac wins all these fights, that will be the Best line up you can find in all Boxing history. JMM at 130, Diaz at 135, Hatton at 140, DLH at 147 Nobody can top that!!!

He lost to JMM at 130, Diaz is B level at 135, He won't be beating Hatton at 140, and certainly won't be beating DLH or any fighter at 147.

How about DLH challenging bigger guys (Pavlik, Calzaghe) instead smaller one (PAC, Hatton)?

I dont think that fighting Pacquiao will do anything for Oscars legacy, if Cotto beats Margarito he will move up in the P4P rankings probably even sneak the #1 spot based off of who he has been fighting recently and based off of who Manny hasnt been fighting ie: Joan Guzman, DLH Crushes Pacquiao anyways the only thing that fight does is genorate loads of cash from crazed Phillipino fight fans and mexican fight fans.
However a fight with Cotto will secure his legacy and make serious cash not manny pacquiao serious but pretty close especially if Cotto looks good in beating Margarito.

Oscar has been itching to pull a Hopkins (add a few big paying little guys to resume) for a long time time now but I bet "you know who" is putting the hammer down on Oscar's excessive prefight abstinences (2-3 months he confessed to his close friend and mentor Dr. Phil).
