    I've always picked this Oscar.

The key is his footwork. Oscar was on his toes ALL night, his feet were as fast or faster than Pacquaio's and people forget that. Oscar became a flat footed fighter later in his career and became easier to beat because of that.

Oscar would dictate the distance with Pacquaio throughout the fight, using superior footwork and his brilliant jab. DLH was a fantastic Boxer.
Pacquaio is a great fighter and is by no means embarassed but he is beaten in a 116-112 type decision.

DLH had a granite chin, and Pac isn't putting him down.

Pac UD. Oscar was one of the best, but facts are facts, he lost most of his big fights. Pac is an ATG, and beats DLH over 12 rounds.

Sue your brain for non support.............he can't get by Marquez but he is going to beat prime Oscar...........Pac WILL get laid out, as you will see if he fights Mayweather becuase he will FORCE the Ko will lunging in all reckless and wiiiide open .

Question : what PRIME fighter has Pac defeated who came of a dominating performance in his last fight and was on top of his game ? Easy answer , none, his best win is Barrera 1 and verything else has a asteristik attached, washed up, old, never was, catchweight etc ect and last but not least looked like absolute **** in their previous fight.

Manny's style gives Oscar fits no matter what time of his career it is

however a younger Oscar is better suited for Manny and would do better much better

I think it would be close, both have power and solid chins a good fight for sure

Manny's style? What style? Throwing punches in bunches? The only time Oscar was beat by a fighter who was quick and threw punches in bunches was against Mosley. Oscar chose the wrong fight plan trying to prove something. In the rematch he proved how effective his jab and boxing skill set were. And like Pacquiao, Mosley was on PEDs vs DLH!

Oscar preyed on fighters who left themselves open for the counter. PAC leaves himself open so much as the smaller JMM exposed.

Oscar is also a great feinter with a great powerful long jab. He was swift on his feet and actually knew how to use them rather than jumping around the ring like a ****ing Gazelle ala Pacquiao.

Also PAC doesn't have the pop to really hurt titanium chinned prime Oscar.

How is Pac going to beat Oscar? By throwing a bunch of punches? Lol.. Oscar would counter Pac and put him to sleep. This is not JMM with lightweight power, this is Oscar who has the Power to KO Mayorga faster than Tito, Vargas faster than Tito or Mosley, ko Gatti faster than Floyd, KO Leija faster than Mosley etc....

Oscar would have Pacquiao fighting off the back foot, and no doubt Oscar's left is better than Pac's. It is just as fast, but shorter and less telegraphed.

Now tell me what STYLE would Pac employ to beat Oscar?

Oscar would always have trouble with Manny. I think Manny specifically has the style to beat Oscar. If this fight happened at any stage in Oscar's career, I think he would lose convincingly. Oscar was a beast against Trinidad, but the speed, footwork, and odd angles would give Oscar some serious trouble. (granted, it would be a much better fight than the zombie Oscar "Dream Fight")

So Manny's speed, overrated footwork (Oscar's was better), and angles would be too much for Oscar? Why? Because you say so? Lol.

Oscar's stiff Jab, shorter left hook, superior footwork, more power, better chin, better skills, and multi dimensions would be too much for Pacquiao.

stylistically, pacquiao would always trouble dela hoya. pac's in and out movement and his left hands would make it hard for him. oscar matches up well more with floyd. oscar is too offensive minded and pac would love this kind of fire fight. pac would be in a war from rounds 1-8 until hoya gasses and fight off the backfoot.

Pacquiao doesnt have the skills to trouble a prime De La Hoya not weight drained,he is just an overrated hype job,he lost to Morales when Morales wasnt weight drained
