Tigre Jiménez might not be so bad on the eyes if she did some crunches and replaced the shaved-head-except-for-cornrows-on-top with something less androgynous.

Salazar plodding along, raising her bulbous left arm as high as she can (which is barely over shoulder level) and nudging it toward Jiménez in a slow pantomime of a jab. 1-2's by Jiménez, taking her time, backing up and lining up her shots.

They announced open scoring, all cards for Salazar...

 

Turning into a real slobber-knocker. In the pocket, trading bombs. Molasses-laden, telegraphed...yet bombs nonetheless.

 

Salazar investing lots of body work, to her credit. It has affected El Tigre's "movement", such as it has been (which started out relatively much quicker than her elder's but has reached the point of parity)

 

Jiménez now has a purple mouse around (mostly under) her left eye.

 

Fischer has Salazar a point up after eight, heading into the "championship" rounds.

 

Jiménez landing on Salazar's considerable gut with oomph, doing the higher quality work by far. Salazar however just keeps brushing her face with the right hand, much busier, if you are willing to count these hair-tousles as "punches"...

The only punch Salazar is throwing even remotely "correctly" is the jab and even that isn't great, hardly ever in a straight line, but again, she's busy with it.

 

Good 10th. Jiménez buckling down, matching the older woman's pace, scoring lots of body flurries.
