this is a fight that would sell big PPV land and Arum would be all for it because he will make a shitload out of it, from a fighter who is not probobly not going to be world class in Jr and after what DLH did again Pac there will be plenty of people who think that Jr can beat him. there is alot of money to be made.

De La Hoya needs to call it quits. If he does continue, it needs to be against some one like Chaves JR though.

De La Hoya isn't taking magic medicine ( Testosterone shots and HGH) to keep up with the younger guys like Hopkins probably is. Most fighters at age 35-37 they are done as top fighters. That is when they start losing speed, testosterone levels drop, muscle recovery becomes more difficult. Ali was getting whooped by Leon Spinks when he was Oscar's age now.

This fight makes all the sense in the world. It will do well on PPV. Right now, everyone thinks DLH is done but let some time go by and let the HBO people hype the fight up right. They'll say he was weight drained. They'll say he'll be fine at 154. They'll say Manny is that good. There's also the Chavez family revenge thing. So many good excuses and plots to interest fans. I'm thinking Cinco De Mayo day 2009. And i think DLH still beats Chavez. And if he wins, he gets another big pay day.

I think Jr. could beat DLH - even before DLH's beatdown last week..

Also, *I* think Jr. IS going to be world-class someday. For his lack of amatuer experience, he looks great right now - sure, a little rough around the edges, but I've been very impressed by what I've seen so far. I predict he'll grab a belt or two in the next few years, and will win some big, impressive fights along the way. I just see so much potential and his handlers are doing a good job so far.
