Oscar won't stand there with him and will use speed and movement to win a decision. Also, if Oscar gives Margarito a shot at fighting him, it will possibly be at 154. Oscar will execute the Santos blue print on him.
Margo is tailor made style wise for Oscar. He has a much easier style for DLH than PBF or even Cotto.
154 definitely wouldn't be a problem for Marg. The only question about this fight in my mind is can ODLH hurt him with that left hook. If he can, he wins. If Marg walks thru it, ODLH gets stopped. I would take a young DLH in this fight for sure, but not so certain now.
154 is a whole new world. Santos actually hurt Margarito with a overhand left I believe. I rather see Oscar fight Margarito than Pacman.
Santos landed that left perfectly, Margarito took a step back, looked off balance for about 1 second, and went right back to work. By contrast, Santos landed a left flush on Alcine (a 30-0 full sized JrMW who had previously beaten Travis Simms) and KO'd him in 1 shot.
You know. DLH does hit harder than Cotto but he doesn't have near that energy or willpower. Margarito gets a stoppage in this fight. Probably alot easier than the Cotto fight as well.
Delahoya will not fight Margarito, TRUST ME ON THIS. It would be a stupid move and a loss going away from the game. I'm a huge Delahoya fan and have been for years but this is a fight he will not win and should not consider as a going away fight. Margarito is a hell of a fighter and it's more his will and toughness than his boxing ability that makes him what he is. tHIS WILL BE A HARD MAN TO BEAT. For anyone.
