    At the time most people were surprised at the decision and had it for Oscar.. I think partly because he was still the 'Golden Boy'. I had it for DLH but maybe I was blinded slightly.

    ^^:lol: I think a lot of people were blinded at the time.

    Seeing it live I thought it was fairly close but scored it 7/5 a week later.

    Well thats close :lol::lol:

    The cherrypicker won a close decision in a fight he didnt look good in(What a surprise).

    I was much more impressed with the performance of a past his best Whitaker against prime Oscar then i was the performance of the cherrypicker against a way past it DLH.

    Mayweather.

    But you could make a case de la Hoya won.

    I remember the crowd jeering the decision- but I guess they were pro Oscar anyway. I thought he had done enough to keep the belt because he had pressed the fight- but looking back and reading the stats I think PBF landed more shots, so he deserved the win.

    you really are a hater aren't ya?

    personally i had it 8-4 for mayweather. he did look good, he dominated the second half of the fight, he backed up DLH in the final rounds.

    and a cherry picker wouldn't have fought castillo twice and corrales

    Honestly it was a very close fight. I felt like Floyd did just enough to win, but others around me felt Floyd was a little better. Very close.

    Truth is neither man was beaten.

    1. Mayweather won the fight, thats that.
    2. You should have did a public poll, that way we could see the morons that voted for the golden goose.

    Public polls appear to be too much trouble these ****in days for you guys it seems.

    Very close fight in my opinion.....Floyd was more accurate and efficient. Landed the cleaner blows....but DLH made the fight...outworked and out hustled Floyd. Floyd won by 2 rounds on my card but there were some very close rounds.

    Mayweather won that fight...He closed stronger. In my opinion in any fight if you are not dominating the fight and you don't close well you don't deserve to complain.

    I had Floyd by two rounds also. He landed the cleaner shots in more rounds than Oscar even if he was backpedalling. But I agree that Mayweather didn't look particularly good...
