Mayweather couldn't sell **** without DLH or Hatton. How much do you think a mayweather vs Forbes would've done?...  that **** would've been air on FNF.

Not the 50 million, but he sold out that stadium...the only reason DLH vs PBF broke records was DLH's popularity and fans hatred of Mayweather. Do you think that mayweather can pull off what DLH did last sat...because as far as Floyd is concerned, he single handily saved boxing.

Dude the tickets were $75-$50-$25-$15, but I guess that dont have anything to do with soo many people showing up. Hell I would pay $15 to watch chick boxing, with both women having 3 fights between the two.

that may be so, but Floyd had to give away seats the last time he fought at home...and half of the place was still empty.

I wrote this in another thread, but it fits here just fine........

.......and btw, my complimentary ticket said just that, complimentary, but I found out from others there that the seats were worth $75.
I had a good view of the fighters making there way up to the ring.
I was like 20 feet away from that....but as far as seeing the actual boxers fight in the ring. There was no way to tell if the punches landed or not, so my section had to see the fight from a screen that was above ringside.
A stadium is just a lousy place to watch a fight, unless you have ringside or close to ringside seats!

....and yes, the $25 dollar seats were nose bleed. Those seats were twice as far from the ring as mine's were. There was no way that any of those fans were going to make out what was really happening in the ring.

Essentially, more than half of the people in the stadium were relegated to watching the fight on a screen above the ring!

Yeah I was at the fight too. I bought $75 dollar seats and they were crap. It makes me appreciate the $60 dollar seats at a local Casino for some good local fights. The Home Depot Center was NOT sold out. I actually wanted Oscar to lose and I don't see how he could deal with someone like Mayweather after that performence. He got hit too much even though Forbes hardly opened up.

I hear you, I would have felt cheated had I paid the $75.

Have you've ever seen a fight from the Home Depot Tennis stadium where the Raphael Marquez Israel Vasquez fight took place....
Its adjacent to the Soccer stadium.....before the fight, I went back to the Tennis stadium to take a look, it would have been a wonderful place to have seen the fight.
Even the highest level seat there would have been a great seat to see the fight without the aid of binoculars or a TV screen.

If there is a fourth Marquez-Iggy fight again at that arena, I'm going to make sure to get my seats for it.:yep
