Even the Sturm fight should NOT have happened. DLH should have just come out of his retirement and faced a couple tuneups (Campas, Mayorga) and then rematched Mosely, and then TRINIDAD. Similarily, Trinidad vs Wright and RJJ were also poor matches, neither of which he could be expected to win. RJJ vs Trinidad was about money, and DLH would have brought more to the table. You can say DLH beat Trinidad in the first fight, or you can say Trinidad won, or you can say it was a draw-- but I just think they needed to have a real fight while still perceived as in their primes OR at the same state of decline.
The way he performed against Mayweather and made it close suggests otherwise, if it was completely one-sided then sure I'll agree but it obviously wasn't. He was also being comoetitive against Hopkins and Sturm despite clearly losing. The Pac fight is a bull**** one so far, it all depends on how both perform when the bell rings, if it's one-sided in favor of Pacquiao or DLH then you're right.
