if the gay judges in the mosley v dlh 2 fight where 2 give dlh the fight that they should ave done, i think would ave made a very exciting 3rd fight. i like both fighters an i think a third fight would ave been awsome.

who do u think would ave won?
i would ave to go dlh s/d but will never no

A third fight could have been made on DLH's say so, but he was unwilling to let Mosely get a deserved piece of the pie, offering Mosely just a little more than what he got for the 2nd fight............DLH was to make 3 or more times what Mosely was being offered for a third match, and it was Mosely who had twice beat him!The reality is that DLH could have made any fight that he wanted to make, if it did'nt happen its because DLH was making these fighters a slap in the face offer meant to be turned down!50/50 or close to that would have landed a Trinidad offer anytime DLH wanted it, but DLH insisted that he make significantly more against a fighter who had beat him.Mosely was'nt even asking for parity, and DLH was still slapping him in the face at the negotiating table!

Who beat who last is important in negotiating fights, but there is little to no doubt that De La Hoya is the draw. He is the reason the numbers are huge. Because of this he simple deserves a bigger piece of the pie so to speak

I thought Mosley won both fights, and would certainly win the third.

Shane CLEARLY won the first fight.

Oscar just won the second IMO.

DLH was never going to perform any better against Mosley than he did in their rematch (which Mosley still won, anyway).

He caught Mosley at one of the lowest points of his career in terms of confidence, and throughout the bout, Mosley showed improvement and seemed to regain that confidence.

A third bout would have seen Mosley win even more convincingly than he had in their previous two contests.

Mosley is simply the better fighter, plain and simple.

Mosleys body work and Oscar again running out of gas is why Mosley won again. Mosley proved he was the better fighter. Oscar continually proves he just can't go a full 12 rounds without tiring. He usually slows down around the 9th round. Mosley won the 2nd fight in the later rounds. Close but the right decision ws made. 17 out of 28 sportswriters at ringside had Mosley. Burt Sugar and Nigel of Ring Magazine also had Mosley along with Lennox Lewis and mickey Ward who were also at ringside. A couple of sportswriters at ringside said if you would have heard the grunts and groans coming from Oscar when those body shots were landing you would have had a tough time giving the fight to Oscar. Those body shots were vicious.

I have to side with Jack Prescott on disbelieving that assumption of yours, Relentless... Tito moved up to 160 pounds in 2000 and he never came back to 154 pounds ( not even to fight Mayorga) - Tito and Don were looking on the unification fight between Winky and Shane at Ringside but they took the winner Winky at 160 pounds still, Tito couldn't come back to Junior Middle.

I also would like to say that all three judges scored it 115-113 for Shane and since the scorecards are collected after each round, there's no indication that that particular score didn't reflect what happened in the ring... I give the benefit of the doubt for what somehow seemed to be making for Shane's 2nd loss to Forrest ( 113-115 in all three judges cards). Either way, Hoya was rocked with a opening hook in the first stanza and after that, fought all the time cautious behind the left lead and the trademark left hook whereas Shane hammered on his body and face with right bombs and if his power was enhanced by illegal supplements, his boxing ability was not - he and Gary Shaw should have taken the 10 million bucks from Oscar for a third fight in spite of facing the man Oscar didn't only for 3 million.

It seems that George Foreman, Jim Lampley and Harold Lederman were hard of hearing and mightly upset with the decision but you can understand why - never would Mosley have the likes of Christina Aguillera on black bra screaming like that or Marc Anthony&JLo jumping on their seats or both the Mexican, American anthems sang in one hell of an HBO Broadcast with slight reminiscenses of a major 90s Pop Show...

    Lets see.

Mosley kicked DLH's ass as teenagers. In the amatuers. Twice as proffesionals. And even in sparring. I think we all know how a rubbermatch would have turned out. :yep
