Also, De La Hoya beat Castillejo, who beat Mullings, who beat Norris, who beat Leonard.

So De La Fishnet is Ray's great great grandfather.

Yes, but even that fight its hard to tell because Hearns broke his right hand within the first round. He did shake Hagler but then his main weapon was gone for the rest of the fight. This is why I don't see it as much of a classic as others. I can't see how a fighter with a broken hand getting knocked out could be a classic.

A lot of the people who rank it so high saw it live, so there's the suspense factor of having two greats trying to kill each other in round 1.

It would be lucky to make my top 30 fights of all-time.

Why is the Golden Panties being mentioned in the same breath as the Marvelous One? Oscar isnt fit to carry a used condom of Marvin Hagler.

Because Oscar beat Camacho who beat Leonard who beat Hearns who would have ko'd Hagler had he not broken his hand on his head. :deal

    Here's a comparison.

When they lose controversial decisions, they cry. De La Hoya cries "fix" and "investigation".

Hagler cries his way to Italy.

I bet Hagler goes to the gun range and uses this as target practice.
