    It's official.

Bernard Hopkins and Oscar de la Hoya have offered Calzaghe a "buyout offer" to fight Hopkins in America of $16million (£8million).

The buyout offer is that GoldenBoyPromotions are the sole promotors of the event with the buyout offer being a flatfee direct to Calzaghe and Warren. An additional $2million will go straight to Frank Warren.

the site thats confidential about its boxing

What did Joe just make for the Kessler fight?

If it wasn't 16 million+ - then I think we'll see this fight next year.

It looks like GoldenBoy have got a big venue in mind, and the fight will probably be ppv over here in the uk. Something we havent had since Naz was fighting.

Can't wait but it should have happened 5 years ago.

Somehow I can't see Joe getting the recognition he deserves for beating a 43-year old Hopkins.

"The offer we put on the table is one they can't refuse," Hopkins said. "If Joe does refuse it, then the world will know that all they are doing is talking and issuing press releases. If they turn this down, then that means they never wanted to fight me."

Good points by Bernard for once.

I dont think Warren and Joe should ***** around on this, its one of the biggest paydays i've seen for a fighter. Just take it and get on with it, **** options.

Interesting to see what the venue is, im thinking its large capacity. Any ideas Americans ? I know Yankee's stadium has been talked about.

That's it, I've had it!! My PPV bills alone would pay for the cost of moving over there with you guys!

No really, that's the way it should be in a perfect world.
