    Just watched the video. Oscars an *******. Joel delahoya shouldve left oscar in tijuana as a kid and started a new family in the US. I now know why they don't get along anymore.

    That is quite the quote right there. Especially so since the kid has been hanging at Wild Card, training with all kinds of pros and his mom has been on the internet going crazy for so long about it.

    Last attempt to personally contact Oscar was supposedly at the BHop fight. Supposedly, after being scared to death and crying, the kid wanted to see his dad after watching him go down so hard from the crowd. Supposedly, him and his mom were let all the way back to the dressing room, and then supposedly, Richard Schaefer had her removed by security and kicked out a side door onto the curb. His mother describes the supposed removal as an attack.

    No wonder the kid prefers an email. :patsch

    What a predicament Oscar would be in should his kid end up making the olympics and shows enough potential as an amateur to turn pro. He definately would have to reach out to him then, or let a rival promoter sign him and expose the situation of how Oscar neglected him all these years.

    Maybe this will be the first boxer with an ATG fighter that can become an ATG himself. The psychological need to gain acceptance and approval from his father can push him to overcompensate hard and achieve some amazing feats.

    The situation's probably different than it appears. I mean, all we have is a crazy woman's word. For all we know DLH might not be allowed to visit the son.
