I know Russia is cold but did they have to fight on an ice rink?

Looks like he is beating up AA, but this guy is seriously strong. Sergio would take him out though.

Everybody saying Sergio will beat Pirog ,then then let him do it. dmitry is the most deserving challenger right now.

Why in the US? Other than Martinez who isnt American but is doing some fighting out of there, the best MWs arent in America

Early days, but whats so wrong with the defences? Martirosan is known in his own country. People dont think other fighters are respected if they are not known to American TV, but Martirosyan has a record every bit as good as J Kirklands, but wait you recognise that name :patsch.
How is Pirog holding a belt hostage, he has mandatories that he will have to fulfill.
The champ often does defend on home turf. The challengers are meant to go to the champ. What countries did Jones or Hopkins travel to, to defend their titles?
Champs that travel really do deserve props. Not many do and in fairness the champs shouldnt really have to. Fighters like Froch, Kessler, Cunningham etc dont get the credit for taking fights away with everything to lose and nothing to gain.
Pirog should be able to defend at home.

Do you think they would be willing to travel to Russia to face the champ?
The champ should be at home with the challenger visiting.
Do you think they will want the champ to travel?
