    Both combatants are currently 1-1 against each other. Exact same result via majority decision and with the exact same cards: 114-114, 115-113 and 116-112. First major light heavyweight trilogy since the fights between Roy Jones and Antonio Tarver. Although I would say that the Bivol-Beterbiev saga carries more significance. Certainly the greatest clash between two Russian boxers.

    Who would you guys pick in the potential third fight? What could both fighters change in the rubber match? :sherlock:

    Bivol in the 8-4/9-3 range. His confidence is sky high. He'd outmanuever Beterbiev and land the cleaner shots. And Beterbiev can only get physically worse from here.

    I'd pick to watch something else, it's time for the division to move on. Add to the fact that for Beterbiev, it's all down hill from here.

    the gap in performance will only get wider between the 2. bivol will look even more dominant in a 3rd fight. the beterbiev reign has passed, even if he remains a formidable fighter.
    i thought bivol won the first one, so picked him to win this one by 3 rds clearly. i believe biev might taste some canvas in a 3rd. not stopped, but dropped.
