I didn't score it closely but I thought Beterbiev controlled the second half and did the damage.

Great technical fight I'd love a rematch

 

BS scores bivol was taking most of the punches on his arms.and.gloves, pretty much every round had the stand out shot and usually they were combos.

Plenty of those Bivol flurries were also landing on the gloves but the commentators were hyping it up massively.

Beterbiev deservedly won. Hopefully we see a rematch.

Will Canelo fight Beterbiev now. He said he would be easier.

 

Both seem super likable. Really enjoyed this fight

 

Bivol humble in defeat but he took him the distance and would have won if not for the last 2 rounds.

I felt he boxed beautifully but wasn't assertive enough in the last 3 rounds - but then no one else has managed to get to the bell.

 

This fight really lowers Beterbiev's stock

He went from this dominant destroyer to a guy who couldn't even hurt Bivol and won a hometown cooking decision. Guy isn't that great.

This was the guy who could supposedly beat Usyk lmao.

I really wish I was still that 15/16/17 year old
Kid that could watch every single world title fight on streams every weekend, with no responsibility let alone being a responsible adult just making sure I watch the biggest fights boxing has to offer (we need more super fights like this to keep boxing going).

What a fight glad I turned down plans tonight with friends just to watch it. Congrats to Bertebiev, also congrats to Bivol in a valiant effort. Would love to see a rematch

 

As many have mentioned ,running shouldn't win fights, which is too often the case in America.
Fortunately this was in Saudi Arabia who like to watch real fighting.
The next season of strictly come dancing should be out soon for the Americans, thats more their style
