Bivol knows he lost that fight

 

I had a draw, and can see a 115-113 Beterbiev card easily. As you say, body shots and looping shots around the guard count, and there were multiple times where Bivol was knocked off balance by those shots in close rounds. I wouldn't have hated a 115-113 Bivol decision but given Artur's more sustained success early and late rounds surge, a close victory is entirely reasonable, imo.

 

After the running Bivol did here this fight doesn't deserve to be mentioned in that same breath.

 

I feel like my free time for the next week will be eaten up by watching this ten times and coming up with 4 different scores.
Kind of reminds me of GGG v Canelo 1 in that it was high level stuff and they were playing for all the marbles but didn't truly detonate into this type of thing:

I also feel a draw or Bivol just edging it. No problem with Beterbiev winning, though, it was a very close fight. But 116-112 is nonsense.

 

Had it 7-5 Bivol. Nothing amazes me in boxing. Seen far worse decisions. What I wish I could deduce is how much is incompetency and how much is corruption.

 

Beterbiev landed the better punches, Bivol boxed better.

 

At best I have it a draw. Bivol on my card.

 

Why are people ignoring bodyshots from Beterbiev ?

It was a close fight, I had it a draw & would like to see a rematch. If Bivol didn't give away the last few rounds he would have won on my card

The 8-4 scorecard for Beterbiev was ridiculous

 

I gave him rounds based on aggression, but not that many. Crap card.

 

I also got the same hagler vs srl vibe though but i dont dislike bivol. It was close imo
