So is bending the knee and accepting it when you think you've been ****ed over. Maybe if every boxer made a scene like this after they got robbed, it would become too much to deal with and the robberies would slowly be phased out.

He said it himself, that he accepted the lose, but his team will still be filling a protest, so which one is it ? did he lose and moves on, or he will complain about the results ?

It's called being diplomatic when you don't have all the facts, as in he hadn't actually seen the match himself. When presented with new evidence, people are entitled to change their minds now aren't they?

Draw would have been more fitting.. wasn't a robbery.. high level fine margin stuff depending on what criteria u favour .. bit of a chess match , not a great fight but thoroughly engrossing.. it was glorious.. proper LHW boxing.. not some illegal blow hugfest.. classy afterwards too.. when two high caliber fighters clash they can nullify & cancel each other out somewhat, I've seen it numerous times.. thats what happened here, tense cagey style clash between two elite fighters.. they are evenly matched.. as the levels get better the margins narrow.. they need to run it back , regardless of your opinion boxing won last night

Then Why he said that he accepts this results, if he did not have all the things right yet ? He could just kept silence, or said that he was ok.

That's why I said, very bad look.

I really think it's his trainer and his promoter, who is making all these negative things around him.

Bivols wife said that Dmitri was always saying that if you had a loss on points, it always means that you were not confident enough.

Maybe it was round 4 I was thinking of. I did have it 3-1 Bivol at that point.

I ended up calling the seventh even myself. Bivol had a sequence where he landed a ton of unanswered shots, but then Beterbiev did take over late - fewer punches but more impactful. If we apply Max Kellerman's "who would you rather be in that round?" rubric - I equally would want to be neither of them.

Watched the fight as it happened with my son. Thought I would post my scoring.

    Round 1: Bivol, 10-9
    Round 2: Bivol, 10-9
    Round 3: Beterbiev, 10-9
    Round 4: Bivol, 10-9
    Round 5: Beterbiev, 10-9
    Round 6: Beterbiev, 10-9
    Round 7: Bivol, 10-9
    Round 8: Beterbiev, 10-9
    Round 9: Bivol, 10-9
    Round 10: Bivol, 10-9
    Round 11: Beterbiev, 10-9
    Round 12: Beterbiev, 10-9

    114-114

I just saw that the judges agreed on 10 of the 12 rounds. So a fight that was close on the scorecards may not have been that hard to score. After nine rounds Bivol was winning a split decision but Beterbiev swept the cards in the last three rounds to earn the victory.
