Bivol is a dead man walking. Beterbiev is usually quiet and fairly respectful of other opponents but in in post fight press conference after his latest victim he was unusually trash talking about Bivol.

Brutal beatdown coming for Bivol.

 

Surprisingly lopsided votes for Beterbiev.

I see this as a 50/50 fight, but the votes makes it look like 75/25.

 

When you have one fighter that has 100% KO ratio and has deceptive skills, and the other guy is perceived as a feather-fist that does 'just enough' in most fights I think that's probably what would be excpected.

After the Callum Smith fights and Lyndon Arthur fights you have to make Artur the favourite, and Bivol can afford less mistakes in his gameplan execution. I rate Bivol super-high, but still have Artur 55-45 favourite here.

Something tells me that people will see the best of BOTH Bivol and Beterbiev in this and that is truly mouth watering

 

I really like both fighters, but I’m going with AB.

 

Beterbiev either knocks him out or Bivol wins wide on points.

 

How much of that was to do with the whole domestic abuse stuff? I've not seen anymore information on it, and it was very disturbing - Bivol had always seem to come across humble and genuine, so it was a shock to say the least.

I don't like throwing people under the bus base on specious claims, BUT domestic abuse is a bad thing, and I never heard any reports of Bivol himself denying it or making any statement on it which was disappointing.

 

Don't think Bivol is strong enough to avoid getting pinned on the ropes and he doesn't hit hard enough to get Beterbiev's respect. If he tries fighting off the ropes for stretches like he did vs Canelo he's getting decapitated.

Beterbiev fan watched all his fights. not a very big bivol fan. was confused why he had so much trouble vs craig richards maybe just an off night.


However I think Bivol will run a lot land shots and run and he might be able to stay out of danger for majority of the fight and take it to 12. where I feel he get's a close win.

 

I doubt he tries that. everyone seems to think beterbiev and canelo are the same fighter. expect more movment from bivol.
