    Soto pressing forward, but throwing and landing little. Joselito landing fast sharp left hooks, now pushing Soto back. Soto starting to tie up more. Soto not throwing as much and now on the backfoot. Joselito defending well. Soto missing a ton. Vicious clean right hook lands on the cheek of Soto. Then another one a few seconds later, which badly rocked Soto.

    Soto comes out using his jab and does a little better to start, Velásquez lands some nice right hands to the head and body shots, Soto comes back towards the end of the round but Velásquez hurts Soto toward the end

    Velásquez hurting Soto from a steady stream of right hands and hooks to the bdoy and head. These body shots are going to end Soto sooner or later, its a sustained attack

    Soto looking a little more desperate early, lunging in with hooks, they're being slipped. Joselito lands a nasty left hook, then a right, Soto crumbles in hold, that was arguably a knockdown. Joselito pressing the action, starting to land in combination. Soto getting in some work to the body, but also fighting far more negatively. Joselito pins him on the ropes, and works him over. Soto fires back, but lands little. Nasty right hook to teh body from Joselito.

    Soto staying on the outside, throwing hooks to teh body, most being caught on the arms of Joselito. Joselito just looking for an opening. He lands a heavy jab that rocks his head back. Then he lunges in and lands a right. Really starting to sit down on these shots now. Soto throwing a lot, but landing almost nothing. Joselito pressing forward, muscling him around, landing hooks to the head and body. A vicious right from Joselito, and another a few seconds later stuns him.

    Velásquez inexplicably has his output go down, way down. Sotos volume is getting through, not as clean as Velásquez has been, but much better than before, Velasquez gets Soto in trouble with the last few seconds of the round landing heavy shots to the head. Tough one to score

    soto's defense is horrible, non-existent. His physical condition is horrible too, he can barely keep his hands up. There is a wonderful KO waiting for him, maybe not tonight, or maybe tonight. But it is right there, around the corner.

    Soto dancing around on the backfoot. Throwing combinations. Joselito not bothered, simply amps up the pressure and starts digging right hooks to his gut. Joselito backs him to the ropes, lands afew combos, then goes back to teh right to the body. They trade hooks up top. Soto holding late. Low blow late from Joselito, gives him a warning.
