Please tell me you're joking. BTW did you see Bivol's Bicep after the fight? Canelo F'd up Bivol's arm so bad he couldn't even hold his belt up lol. First Callum Smith now Bivol. Someones gonna lose an arm one of these days.

Well maybe he should have but at the same time he did put up a pretty good fight against Bivol. I mean it was clear to me that he lost, but it was far closer than most people around here seem to be pretending it was. How did you score it BTW?

The main problem for Canelo today was...that he actually fought like Ryan ****ing Garcia.

Wide. Clen only won a few rounds and he was hitting arms and gloves all night. Bivol, as I told the forum, has one of the best defenses in the game and rarely gets hit.

People were asking if he had a good chin, which he does, but I was wondering why they weren't asking themselves how often have they've seen him get hit flush because we simply haven't seen it happen much

Always the early round calls by the judges which look the most suspect...

Respect to Bivol for schooling Canelo so hard that not even a cadre of 3 corrupt judges could rob him.

Canelo needs to go back to his own weight, what's this about him being vegan? How does one acheive Canelo's physique on a diet of nuts and avocados?

He did have that nice uppercut. He also landed some good right hands over the top. He had Bivol retreating several times with sustained attacks. He had a big round 9. But not enough jabs, not enough body shotsand his defense was lacking in the 2nd half of the fight. Though when he tried jabs to the body or straights to the body they landed, but whn he tried hooks to the side of Bivol's body they were blocked, which I expected which is why I wanted to see more jabs and straights to the body. There were a number of close rounds though. I didn't have any problem with the judges scores of 115-113, maybe 116-112 would have been better but I don't think it was much wider than that.

Yeah, maybe cause Bivol is dominating him ? Get off your glasses bud.
Bivol outlanded him in every single round by quite a margin.

No way it was that close. The judge's cards were a disgrace

Tim Bradley's physique was more impressive and I believe he also was vegan.

Well Bivol did everything I thought he would and could, except I thought they'd never give him a decision, hence my choice Canelo s/d. He dominated so thoroughly they really had no choice but to................all praises to him. I should've been more confident that the judges would actually give Bivol a decision/then again 115-113 for this type fight is them trying to do anything they can to make it closer than it was, which was my reasoning for picking Canelo

Whilst my boy won, the judges 115-113 (7-5) was too close, imo, it was either 116-112 (8-4) or 117-111 (9-3) in favour of my boy.

Some of the disrespect I have heard this week regards Bivol on the radio etc was embarrassing. Hopefully, he (Bivol) will be now recognised as a truly legitimate Pound for Pound Top 10 fighter.

I guess the GGG Trilogy fight has now gone up in smoke!

To summarise, the Hunter was Hunted. Never seen Canelo so defensive and backed up before. Not a single mark on Bivols face, it was all on his arms. Superb performance, game plan and most importantly, concentration.
