    Round 2 Abduraimov wins by KO

    Elnur clips him with a lands left hook early, shakes him up. Elnur just stands there, looking for his opening, lands a straight left flush on the chin, Correa goes down like a sack of potatoes. He makes it back up, gets rocked again. His nose is busted. Elnur corners him, and is unloading, landing nasty lefts and right hooks to the head. He goes down again, somehow makes it up again, his face is a bloody mess. Right back on teh attack, he lands another straight left to the chin, he goes down for a third time, ref waves it.

    If someone really convincingly wins a round but suffers a flash knockdown it's generally scored 10-9 against them.

    There was a round in Canelo vs. Trout where Canelo dropped Trout but Trout got up and beat him up the rest of the round. I'd have scored that 10-9 for Canelo.

    A round can only be 9-9 in the case of a point deduction.

    Actually a knockdown is scored at the discretion of a judge. If a referee calls a knockdown but a judge believes it was a slip technically a judge is allowed to go against although this rarely happens.

    It definitely isn't mandatory to score a round 10-8 in the event of a knockdown either loads of cases where this doesn't happen.
