Too wide IMO, Kudryashov won at least 3 rounds

What a dull fight, 12 underwhelming rounds after six hours of inferior fights and even worse music. Romanov won clearly, but Kudryashov did a lot better than we all thought.

I think the biggest surprise here was that despite it's snail pace it ended up being a somewhat decent fight all things considered. I had feared it would be a total gas clinch fest if it went to the 2nd half.

Romanov was a wide winner but Kudryashov's punch resistance and stamina have definitely improved with the added weight. It actually turned into a half decent fight in the last third of it but Kud's confidence is shot and it was very noticeable in the first half of it. He looked nervous everytime he got hit but he began to relax in the second half and started standing his ground more and just walking through the punches. Romanov might not have much snap on his shots but he is a heavy puncher and unfortunately for Kud he looks like the type who can take a crack and some of the handful of full-blooded right hands and left hooks Kud was able to catch him with probably would've taken out a lot of BW Level fighters.

In my mind's eye I'm just seeibg them both trading hooks and crashing to the canvas simultaneously with their eyes rolling into the recesses of their heads.

Were I a pro fighter the last thing that I would like people to call me is "iron jaw".

I dont know, "iron fist", "hands of stone", "fast feet", "the smart fox", "sweet like sugar"...... anything.... all that is good.

"Iron jaw"... wow, in my mind that's an euphemism for "(future) punch drunk". I would fall into a depression if my nickname were something like that.

Just my opinion, though. I'm just thinking out loud... nothing else.

It was ...an okay fight. A few too many sporadic instances of spirited punching both ways to write it off as totally dull and underwhelming IMO, but at the same time it was too sporadic to say this was really exciting (or that Kudryashov is even a tenth as must-see in a distance fight as in one that ends in a glass shattering, for or against him). @gogeta hit the nail on the head - it was grueling, in a steady but not edge of your seat way, and without that nagging voice in the back of your head saying it could end any moment that grueling nature would lose much of its charm. Not a fight with replay value (or first time viewing knowing the outcome), basically.

Calling yourself El Chacal isn't a great idea either, especially if you look like the toilet Ghoulie and fight like a timid quivering chihuahua 90% of the time.

Dima put in a good shift there. Punch resistance and stamina went up a whole another level. If only he could throw in combinations and fight inside a bit better. Romanov was open all night for them uppercuts. Good fight.
