    Dmitry Bivol born 12/18/90 is a 6'0 Light Heavyweight with a 12-0 19 KO's record. He was born in Tokmok, Kyrgyzstan and is fighting out of Saint Petersburg, Russia. He's of ethnic Turkic Kyrgyz origin and to the best of my knowledge he only has one loss in the amateurs but is undefeated in The World Series of Boxing. Yet another in a long line of Eastern European bordering on Asian prospects currently flooding the Light Heavyweight division, this division will never be the same again, soon the Eastern European grip will turn into a full fledged iron fisted stranglehold. Bivol is an incredibly talented and skilled young man he is very proficient in cutting off the ring, and walking down his opponents, he has a very good defense, is good at staying just out of range and has a very good straight right. His name Bivol or Buyvol is Kyrgyz for Buffalo and the city he was born in Tokmok means Hammer in English. Another fun fact for history buffs he shares a 12-18 birthday with former tyrannical Soviet Dictator Joseph Stalin.     His mother is Kyrgyz, I believe, and his father is of Moldovan origin. Dmitriy himself is a Russian patriot through and through, supports "Novorossiya" and all that. Dude represents Russia to the fullest, he's not just "fighting out of...".

    I've had it with looking at the LHW propects for a while. So much talent coming up, it's hard to keep track.

    Let's see how the guys that already showed to be dangerous will do in the next couple of months/year, and then we can look towards what's coming up behind them

    Glad to hear that, that seems to be a rarity with guys from Former Soviet Republics these days.
    But if I'd said he loves Russia, I'm sure there'd be somebody claiming he a proud Russian hating Kyrgyz, you can't win.:lol:
