His father is Moldovan from Romanian(as spoken language) origin or Russian(same as spoken language) origin ? Because Bivol=Ox(or Buffalo) in Romanian, don't know if it's the same in Russian.

Bivol will meet Felipe Romero on 08/27.
Will he stop him earlier than Usyk did? :think

He stopped Vegas quicker than Briedis did and he also got Piternov out of there quicker than anyone, sans the second round injury loss to Ekimov. Quicker than Sillahk, Sukhotsky and Kashtanov did and they are all way more experienced than Bivol is. So you never know.

Bivol is a beast though and one I always feared could dominant 81kg in the am'a if given the chance , he should be watched with a keen eye, his way more experinced than his record suggests

He's definitely a beast and I rate him highly and love his style. Sillakh was 20-1 when he fought Piternov, Kashtanov was 33-1, and Sukhotsky was 16-1, whereas Bivol was just 1-0. Sillakh was 302-16 as an amateur, not sure what Sukhotsky or Kashtanov's amateur records were or even if they had extensive amateur careers.

Joey Vegas lasted the full 12 round distance against Sukhotsky too, and he lasted the distance against CW Dmytro Kucher and Mekhonstev, but both were only 8 rounders. But yeah Bivol obviously gained a lot of experience from his amateur career and he has a very pro orientated style.
