He was pricing himself out of the fight, right? "hey canelo, I want more money or nothing"
Well, finally it was nothing. Now he cries.

Next time, he should not price himself out of a fight.

I really hate people refusing to accept the consequences of their actions.

Nothing wong with asking more money for the fight. I'm sure the first fight was a career high payday for Bivol but still below what Canelo could pay.

Everybody knows, Canelo included, that he can't beat Bivol. That's why he doesn't want to pay him. It's Canelo's problem if he doesn't want to avenge his loss. Bivol probably has no interest in the fight either and money would be the only motivation. Saying money is not important is BS. With that said, I would take the ''chump change'' that Canelo is willing to give me to beat him again anytime, because if you want to cement your legacy, Bivol vs Beterbiev needs to happen, and I doubt Bivol will make anywhere near what Canelo was offering, and that's a fight where you can end up being KOed.

canelo dont need bivol to cement his legacy, that part is done. what he does in the future is just gravy. bivol hasnt even beat the top guy in his own weight class. you want to talk about cementing legacy, look to that **** poor resume. who has bivol beat that anyone is gonna know in 20 years? canelo, the guy who moved up to challenge him? what a legacy.

Was Bivol justified asking for more money? I would think if Bivol was being unreasonable with his request, then Canelo did the right thing. If not, then Canelo needs to loosen those purse strings and get Bivol that money and get ready for the 2nd installment of that 1st ass whoopin.

Canelo wants no more Bivol, but he must play it like it is the opposite...

As for the racism against the Russians - that is another episode of the "new normal" or the well-known "Two Minutes Hate".

Over the past several weeks the excuse was that Bivol wanted a bigger split. Bivol fans / Canelo haters just came up with whatever nonsense they could come up with to make excuses. He doesn't want the fight, and from the horses mouth, he doesn't care about $$. So it wasn't about him wanting a bigger split after all.

He probably does want to fight at 168, but the idea that he was demanding a bigger split was just a made up lie.

Since canelo finally decided to fight someone else instead (making the same money or even more), it's obvious that bivol was not justified, since he could not generate that money.

Money has nothing to do with boxing skills. You can ask beterbiev or chocolatito if you dont believe me.

Bivol made stupid movements, and now he doesnt want to face the consequences and cries. He better stfu and learn from his mistakes.

    Bivol check mated himself.

He wanted the rematch at 168lbs and tried to take Canelo's star power away in the process (x2 losses for Canelo).

Canelo refused and now said no to the rematch at 175lbs as well. Canelo also has a $50m offer to fight Benavidez and a big offer from the Saudis for a Badou Jack fight.

Bivol was always the B-side against Canelo.
