After Callum Smith expressed a desire to avenge his amateur loss to Bivol, Bivol has answered and is willing to move down to SMW for it

At LHW I got Bivol by KO ... just more skilled and better power too.

Bivol weighed 180 for Agnew and 184 for Chilemba

    Bivol 180 - Agnew 186

    Bivol 184 - Chilemba 189

And he was definitely giving away weight to Sullivan Barrera as well, probably round about 5lbs IMO.

Joe Smith Jr. is who there is talk about Bivol facing next is a big LHW who comes in about 190lbs

And Eledier Alvarez, according to his trainer Marc Ramsay, weighed 192lbs on the night for Kovalev although the HBO tale of the tape said he was 187

So Bivol is pretty much going to be giving up weight the vast majority of the time at LHW or at best weigh roughly the same as his opponent. I know he said that if he was going to fight in another division he would go down in weight because he said he feels sluggish and not as energetic when he's got up as high as 190 during training.

Ooh ye, I'd have said Bivol at 175 but the margins narrow at 168 for me...

    I'd love to see it.

Smith would be another though fight for Bivol. But also quite winnable.
If Bivol can make 168, i think he should aim for that. Smith is a big dude and he would benefit from fighting at 175.

Should be at LHW. Understand Bivol's desire to fight Smith at 168 but I don't think these things go well. Why go down to 168 when the guy is a light heavyweight anyway.

It would be a little better than the Skoglund vs Smith fight which was very good IMO.

That sounds like a lot of weight to drop?

People don't realise as an amateur Smith went from a welterweight to a light heavyweight in 12 months.

Smith knocks the overrated little man's head off imo. Anytime, anywhere, any weight
