    Ward has no resume to speak of at LHW...five bouts.

    His legit wins:

    Unranked Journeyman Paul Smith...had five loses, out-pointed twice by Abraham and KO'd by Groves, all before he met Ward.

    Unranked Alexander Brand...four months shy of forty, a cash out fight.

    Sullivan Barerra... Wards only half-decent, legit scalp at 175. Went the distance with Ward, got KO'd by Bivol.




    His Kovalev bouts:

    1. Beaten 8-4 , 7-5 if you'r e generous...knocked down and busted up. But the judges gave him the "home-cooked" win.

    2. Was trailing again ( but not on the cards...judges again :shakehead:) but decided to attack the scrotum...successfully. Ref provided stoppage.



    So, based on a decision over Barerra, a man Bivol stopped, some folks think Ward would beat Bivol ?


    In the right city and with the right judges and / or referee, Ward could get a decision.
    But it's very unlikely he could actually beat Bivol at Light heavy weight.

    Bivol imo. Too big, too strong, too skillful. What power does Ward have to really scare him? He would beat him on points for sure.

    While I agree Ward is better inside, i disagree with Bivol not being able to fight inside. Bivol was catching and countering Canelo all night and that prevented Canelo from teeing off on him. (heres an example

    Bivol is also better at distance fighting which is his preference.

    I personally give Ward a small edge for now due to his larger body of work but Bivol can pull an upset any night imo.

    This is not a dig at your post but I really don't get the feeling he would adjust
    When her fought Kovalev, all Kovalev really did was keep the jab going and it looked enough to win for many.

    When I think of fighters adjusting mid fight, De La Hoya comes to mind

    We won't know
    Not saying he would or wouldn't but Ward decided against facing him
    At the time Degale was looking good. Around that time Degale was beating Dirrell who Ward also didn't fight and went on to beat Bute who Ward didn't seem interested in facing

    Bivol is too quick, too slick and too Eurasian heat for Dre. His billy goat butts, octopus grabbing, and dirty tactics won't work on Bivol who will just step back and counter him with those fast hands and counter punching combinations when he rushes in head first either low or high. Bivol's physical strength and power is very underrated as we saw last night too. He definitely hits significantly harder than Dre when he sits down on his shots.

    Bivol. Ward was a juiced up cheating ******* who should have been DQd against Kessler. He even matched Bika for foul play... Bivol has much better poise, footwork & punch speed.

    Ward after his return at 175 would probably lose. But super six Ward at 168 probably wins.

    ROFLMAO!! You'd never get Ward in the ring with Artur not even in Ward's Hometown arena with all 3 judges & ref all hometown boys. Ward hasn't got the gonads
