    Bivol is throwing powerful 1-2s at the head and then drilling a few straight combos at the exposed midriff as Romero jumps back with his gloves up. Romero is badly hurt. Bivol is walking to him, a little too patient and respectful, giving Romero time enough to regroup and widen the distance. Romero is hopping in place, getting the blood flowing and clearing the cobwebs, and flipping up a backhanded jab.

    Yeah, I hope not to see him develop into a Rocky Juarez/Matvey Korobov/Dmitry Chudinov type, where there's loads of early promise only to find out that he only ever wants to fight at the one pace with no flexibility in his sense of urgency.

    He's performing well. This is only his 4th fight and Romero, who looks in much better shape at LHW than he does up at CW, has been in there and taken much bigger and more experienced quality operators rounds.

    Bivol is switching up his 1-2 a bit, throwing lead hooks before the cross and sometimes even leading with the right and then hooking the body. Bivol is tired and carrying his arms low but still pressing the action. Romero is doing lots of jumping around, ducking below the waist, skimming his back along the ropes, diving in and hugging. Romero takes a pair downstairs and is hurt, dashes to his right, breaking into a full sideways run with Bivol matching his step in front of him, mirror-imaged. Bivol with under a minute left catches Romero against the ropes with a BIG 1-2 and puts him down and OUT with another right hand!

    Good finish, spiteful shots up top but the body shot was the one that began it all. Might well have been a case getting a few rounds before upping the ante.
