Lugo has been kayoed more times than Hernandez has set foot in a ring as a pro.

"Madman" Hernandez apparently has a big local following (though he is from Fresno, 300mi north of Costa Mesa...) who are willing to make their way down the coast to cheer him on. When researching this card most Tweets about it were by Californians eager to see him in action, which seems crazy when you consider that vastly superior prospects like Bivol and Kuzmin were on the bill.

Any thought on the silver medalist from Mongolia, Tugstsogt?

Madman certainly fights like one. Very sloppy. Luckily for him, Lugo's very easy to find.

Tugstsogt interests me but I only saw the GIF highlights 13thr posted (I only tuned in during Kuzmin vs. Wilson); the finishing combo was nice though. :thumbsup

Nyambayar seems like a bit of an offensive bob-and-weave artist. I dig that. Lost art, since Tyson's day. (and even before him, not many had used it since Frazier)

Madman Hernandez appears to be the US's answer to Frank Buglioni in the UK.

Sells lots of tickets for some reason, but very average.

Hernandez is going life and death with a much smaller dude with a losing record. (22 losses, to be exact)

The Mongolian was an awesome amateur, really excited by him as a professional

Big John McCarthy is standing there in the ring thinking "hell, I've seen better stand-up reffing MMA..."

I wouldn't mind seeing Nyambyar and Bivol (stellar amateurs, both) paired together on more cards. :good

I could take or leave Kuzmin, honestly..

Lugo is a terrible fighter, but he's plucky, bless him.
