Who watched the HBO feed did Max miss the kO because his head was in Ward's lap?

In all honesty: Can someone give me a quick breakdown if anything of consequence was said?

    Thanks.

No it was Roy today, and Max and Roy were arguing whether or not Bivol hits harder than Kovalev, Roy thought he did, Max said he didn't.

The fact that you thought Broadhurst had any chance shows your lack of boxing knowledge.

I don't think his power is at Kovalev's level, its all speed, accuracy and above average power that is devastating.

I can note an area where Bivol's approach might be improved because I've seen him fight several times now, and while he's always impressed, there have been times where he's been clipped by punches and affected by them a little more than he might have been had he taken his head off center line. Yes, he responded well, but the shots he took against Berridge and Broadhurst could have been avoided altogether or at the very least diminished with a bit of head-movement.

Maybe he's got the ability to do that in his tool-kit, and will show it against better opposition. But based on what's occurred on multiple occasions, this strikes me as being the one area of Bivol that could be refined.

I mean, I know you think it's terrible for me to make an appraisal of the guy's skill-set and find an area that isn't altogether perfect- especially given that he fights out of Russia. But it's not like you think that much of me anyway. Even if you did, you're always looking for an excuse to use the term "specious" at the drop of a hat. So, really, I shouldn't be surprised about your reaction, and choice of words. :D

Either way, it's something that I have noted and if it turns out to be an area that's exploited by someone like, say, Gvozdyk, I won't be completely surprised. But he's still damned impressive and it will take someone good to fully exploit the one area that I see in Bivol that isn't completely refined at present.

HBO has an hour blocked out for Bivol's fight. I'm not seeing any more scheduled bouts. Are Lampley and Kellerman just going to talk for 57 minutes?

I've heard your pro ranks are so lacking in human participants that they've had to rope in hundreds of kangaroos to inflate the numbers a little lol

"This kid is a real puncher..."

You can hear the relief in RJJ's voice that Bivol wasn't around during his light heavyweight prime. :sisi1

    Final stats:

    Power
    Bivol 6 of 13, 46%
    Broadhurst 2 of 9, 22%

    Total
    Bivol 12 of 35, 34
    Broadhurst 3 of 35, 9%

That is true domination. With stats like that you can't really go much longer than a round, if the guy on the upper line has any kind of pop...and Bivol has some kinda pop.

LOOOOL one of the quickest fights I've ever watched. If I bought a ticket I'd be pissed.
