Btw, it saddens me that Bivol is now seen as a world champ, yet he has not fought a single top 10 contender.

It's even more glassy since Demetrius Bivol detonated that Russian Bear nuclear power right hand bomb on it. Broadhurst does look like he packs a punch from the brief bit of footage I saw of him, though.

In that case expect Frank Warren to pick out Broadhurst for Yarde this year. He’s pretty much ran out of Hungarian barbers and bartenders.

Yes and Artur's Russian Bear nuclear power is on a whole different level to Bivol's and pretty much everyone else's on Planet Earth.

    Bump

Thought I'd watch the Chisora Kabayel fight as I remember hearing a lot about how Chisora got schooled and turned up unmotivated (and I was bored), well that wasn't really the case. Adam Smith and Carl Froch's commentary was horrendous. They watched the first few rounds properly and then stopped watching and just based their whole opinions for the rest of the fight off that. I feel they influenced a lot of people's opinions too.

    My scorecard.

    Round 1. Kabayel 10-9
    Round 2. Kabayel 10-9 close
    Round 3. Chisora 10-9
    Round 4. Kabayel 10-9
    Round 5. Kabayel 10-9
Round 6. Kabayel 10-9 very close
    Round 7. Chisora 10-9 close
    Round 8. Kabayel 10-9
    Round 9 Chisora 10-9 close
    Round 10. Chisora 10-9
Round 11. Chisora 10-9 very close
    Round 12. Chisora 10-9

    114-114 draw.

Chisora was struggling early on with Kabayel's movement in the first half of the fight but came back into it as Kabayel's stamina was beginning to fade and badly. He used up a lot of energy moving unneessarily at times which almost became his downfall and Chisora was the one who finished the stronger. Fair result I guess, it really could have gone either way, certainly not the blowout Adam Smith and Carl Froch made it out to be.
