Decent short notice fight for Bivol.

Next few months in Light Heavy is full of decent, but "they could do so much better" fights:
Bivol vs Salamov
Beterbiev vs Browne
Smith jr vs Johnson
Ramirez vs Gonzalez
Arthur vs Yarde

 

Poor old browne is gonna have a sore arse after Beterbiev drops him so hard

 

Fight im looking to:
-Beterbiev vs Brown (of course!)
-Smith vs Johnson(best match up in the list)
-Ramirez vs Gonzalez(rating fight for Ramirez)

 

Ehhhh...... It's another routine defense for Bivol. Salimov lost to Damien Hooper, hard to give him much of a chance here.

 

Not the worst fight, but very little chance of Bivol getting derailed here. Salamov is a decent opponent but not a real threat IMHO.

 

Should be a fairly routine defence for Bivol, he's not had much luck in fights coming off since the Richards one - Bolotniks, then Canelo of course all fell through. Last rumor i'd heard was John Ryder bizarrely on the Whyte Wallin card, but obviously that went to pot.

Salamov is at least a legit 175lber, but would rather see Bivol fighting someone in the top 10; I'd heard Zurdo, but he then signed to Gonzalez

With Buatsi pulling out againts Vlasov, that would have been a better fight IMO, and Hearn should have been able to make that happen.

Bivol should leave Matchroom, Edday hasn't done **** for Dmitry!

 

Eddy Hearn have done ****! exepton of really known boxer who have a draw in England.I would like him vs Vlasov or Buastsi.

 

Interesting fight. We will find out if Salamov belongs in the upper echelon. We will also find out if Bivol's lackluster performance in his last bout was due to the long layoff or he is getting old, young.

 

Bivol is going to whoop that dude.

 

Excited for Smith jr - Johnson.
Will be good to see Beterbiev again to see if he indeed on the decline.
Bivol fight is interesting to watch for the same reason as Beterbiev.
Other fights do nothing for me.

After this we will expect a real challenger, otherwise his stock will drop further
