Pretty sure that was the regular WBA strap and the IBF title.

On his game Chudinov will win by stoppage BJS rocked Chris a few times early, but since Dmitry's power can be erratic, most likely an off his game Chudinov wins on points, but it is Endland so....

Dmitry ain't a finished product and I absolutely agree that his brawling style will make it easy to score against him, but he can box, and I'm guessing he can box better than Jr. Furthermore he can also punch, and well... see above....

Don't get me wrong, I ain't a particular admirer of either of the Chudinovs (though I lean towards Fedor as the most promising) but I'm also very far from sold on Chris Jr, and Dmitry is competent and powerful. If young Eubank can get past Dmitry I will take him a fair bit more seriously.

I think it would probably be the end of the road if he lost against Chudinov.

It might be career suicide but i think Eubank Jr will pull it off. I dunno if FW would send him to the wolves because he wants him to fight Saunders possibly for a world title down the line.

Chudinov is no world beater. He is higher ranked than Billy Joe Saunders, though. Which is funny to me.

I think the problem with Eubank Jr is he fell in love with his power knocking out latvian chimney sweepers and he thought he could knockout Saunders.

I think now he knows he has to box better at the world level.

    :good

(and it will nudge Billy's stock up a bit...double-edged sword, though, as the pressure will be on for him to rematch Eubank, who then will have a better single W on his resume than Saunders, and with Saunders having no real excuse to pass it up with Eubank having a shinier piece of hardware than all his combined...)

Saunders is fighting Lee in Ireland next though. hopefully Lee & Chudinov destroy them both and no one cares anymore.

...leaving us with Chudinov vs. Lee, which all of a sudden is a tough nut to crack. (who saw Lee stopping Korobov? - so we can't rule out him stopping Chudinov whose defense is far worse... but then Lee is fragile and Chudinov heavy-handed...)

How many int WBA MW fights did Golovkin have before he was made to full champ? Or what fight did he become full champ?
Is it possible the winner of that fight could be made full champ and Golovkin Super champ or is he already super champ?

Edit - Jacobs is WBA champ

    I forgot :patsch

So Golovkin must be Super champ already? So when did Golovkin go from interim, to champ to Super champ?

    I did:D
I agree on him stopping Chudinov as well, its a distinct possibility. But Lee's ****ty chin could let him down as well, I wouldn't know who to go for.

i think triple G will push hard for Lee's belt in the spring since Taylor and Cotto are unlikely to agree to fight him, ever. he would probably even go to Ireland to take it. he wants those belts.

i don't think Golovkin was ever an interim WBA champ. i think he went to Super after the Maclin fight.

looked it up on Boxrec. they say he won interim vs Nunez then was elevated to regular or whatever the next fight.
