Has there ever been such a massive gulf in beatability separatin one aalphabet titlist from the other three as there Iis between Gennady and those stooges? (and I say that with all due respect for Cotto, Taylor, and Lee - all of whom I like...but as "middleweight champs" go... :!:)

Back in 2010 Golovkin was the challenger for Sturm's WBA belt since a year and won the interim belt in August 2010. But the WBA has upgraded chicken Felix Sturm to superchamp in september 2010 so Sturm was able to avoid Golovkin

It amazes me the support Eubank Jr. is getting and I'm not really sure why, he's good but not good enough to justify the support he gets.

    Eubank is leading, kinda surprising.

I think this is a toss up in who wins. I will lean towards Eubank Jr, though. Saunders seems to me to be a much smoother operator than Chudinov.. I think Saunders style being a southpaw with a decent jab would have always spelled trouble for Eubank Jr's first step up.

Chudinov uses his left hand to measure his shots way too much. It gives his opponent enough time to catch him coming in. He's quite predictable. It will be a tough fight for Eubank Jr no doubt about it. I just think Chudinov's style might not be as big as an issue as Billy Joe's style was for him.

I don't think either Chudinov or Eubank Jr are pure boxers. Although, I think Chudinov looks less sloppy and more coardinated.

Jimmy Tibbs said Eubank Jr should avoid punchers. If Chudinov has enough power to hurt Eubank Jr early on then it could be a short nights work.

If Chris loses this then it's over at him at world level for quite a while until he rebuilds himself again. He would have to fight atleast two or three domestic level fighters to come back from it.

I'd say overall they're both on a similar level. I don't see Chudinov being much better than Eubank Jr.

It's quite an intriguing fight. I would think Eubank Jr's back is against the wall and i think he should have fought a Nick Blackwell or John Ryder type of opponent before this fight, though.

i don't keep up with all the divisions nearly enough to be qualified to give that opinion but i'd agree Golovkin is in a far higher league than any other current middleweight.

Perhaps Terry O'Conner can be the ref.

    Judges:

    The Queen
    Sasha Cohen as Ali G.
Eubank Sr Mr "Dymp[sic] ribo nucleic acid" himself

I think Eubank wins this one. Chudinov is not as slick as Saunders and hopefully Eubank has learned from that experience.

If Eubank can't force his fight,he will loose by beatdown.

Not so much. Dmitrys hardly well known and his UK appearances weren't his finest moments. Props to the kid for being willing to come back under the circumstances... I'm guessing he'll need to look very good to get the nod in this one.

Its because Froch also holds IBF belt, to the WBA unified champs with IBF are also super champs. So at SMW, WBA has 2 super champs. Most media still lists Froch as WBA regular, but on WBA books he is a super.

On a related note at 160, this is why getting Jacobs the regular and snagging Solimans IBF were so important to Haymon. When he unifies them the WBA will create another super champ :-(

Slick is one thing you wouldn't call Dmitry (I'd be hesitant to apply the term to BJ either - though I know what you mean), but the kid can actually box pretty well - he's a very long way from being a master of his style but I suspect that the come forward 'in your face' attitude will give Jr problems.

How this fight plays out will largely follow from whos able to establish the initiative and whos the guy backing up - my feeling is that Eubanks Jr is gonna find himself on the back foot fairly early and won't cope that well... but... Chris can bang a bit and would probably be advised to come out swinging and force Chudinov onto the defensive - if..IF..he can keep Chudinov from getting into his game he's a reasonable chance of the win.

When Dmitrys had problems, tho, it's been with guys who won't let him engage, but I'm yet to be convinced Chris can win that kinda fight (or even fight it well). If they both do what they both usually do they then Chudinov should probably get the win.

    25-22-1 Eubank.

Jr. has led since the poll was made.
