It wasn't a schooling, but I had Saunders up a couple.
Looked to be doing it easy, then started to coast a bit.

Its not so much that I thoroughly believe in Dmitry and his power, its seems to ebb and flow from match to match, its the lack of belief I have in CEJ chin, Saunders shook a few times early, while Billy Joe has decent power he no KO artist and if he can rock Eubank I think Dmitry especially with his come forward style will have a good chance at stopping him.

i think Eubank had some sort of stagefright for most of the fight. i'd pick him to beat Saunders if they fought again, definitely if he got away from his father, who's a nutjob.

Lee over Saunders. Chudinov over Eubank.

Eubank wasn't 'rocked' at any stage of the fight.

That was the toughest fight of Billy's career.

Yep, Eubank was never hurt but Saunders went on little walkabouts and looked to hold a few times.

Is it bad that Eubank finished stronger and got a SD over the current British, European and commonwealth title holder, his first decent opponent? Or is it worse that Saunders struggled so badly against someone who had fought nobodies and never gone beyond eight rounds and nearly got stopped in the final round in the best shape of his life?

Eubank has more room for improvement as all the criticisms are the same, he started too late. Billy did his best.

I think they are actually BOTH very good fighters but I look forward to seeing how Eubanks career unfolds. I think both have the potential to be hard fights for Golovkin. Certainly harder than any of the other british fighters he's faced so far.
That fight Golovkin had against the journeyman in Monte Carlo late last year, he looked poor, like he wont deal with good movement or people coming forward.

Eubanks is a terrible boxer at this point, Saunders is probably forever C-level and B-level at best and neither are worthy of carrying Golovkin's jock much less being mentioned as viable opponents. also, Golovkin utterly dominated and beat the holy **** out of Adama. ydksab.

Golovkin stopped who he should have stopped. He didn't have as easy a time as he should with him.

Golovkin is good but I don't think great. Im not saying Saunders would win but he definitely has the capacity to be a harder fight than the one I mentioned as he will be harder to hit.

I think for just having 16 pro fights Chudinov is pretty good...
Just keep him away from Golovkin for another year.

    Or, you know, forever.

Even his brother Fedor - who is bigger and probably a little better overall pound for pound anyway - I'd make a pretty heavy underdog against GGG.

The brothers are very good (and while both will improve with more pro experience, I don't project them developing all that far beyond what they are now), but that's still a level below Golovkin.

Maybe rocked might be an overstatement but, Chris didn't react well to a couple of shots he took from Saunders early on, it was enough for me to notice at least.
