That was another enjoyable scrap between them. Kudryashov looked pretty sloppy at times and he was obviously under a lot of psychological pressure so it must've been difficult for him to relax. The thought of losing the rematch in front of his home fans must've weighed heavy on his mind. Durodola proved once again that he's as tough as old boots and as game a they come. The ref allowed Kudryashov to hold to much. He also gave Durodola a bit too much time to recover after the first KD.

His biggest improvement was learning to tie up when he's getting hit. He just let Durodola tee'd off on him in the first fight.

The shoulder roll is still there, but tying up help keep him out of danger.

REALLY, REALLY want Kudryashov to work with Abel Sanchez. I think he would push him to another level.

So Kudryashov has learnt to hold when he's in trouble, and that's the adjustment that won it for him. His defense is a bit better than before as well, better head and upper body movement.

But he still gets hit too much, got wobbled several times, and the shoulder roll is still far from a success. So plenty of work to do.

It takes a man to avenge a bad KO loss. Face the music and come back with a vengeance. A mere con never rematches his conquerors.

Kudryashov generates so much power with that left hook :eyepop:

Still didn't like his demeanor on the inside though, he was constantly trying to avoid Durodolas right hand by simply leaning to his left, grabbing Durodolas arm and then waiting for the ref to separate them rather than trying to spin out to the right or pushing Durodola back.

The ref could have stopped it after the first droppage. Duro was out after that , he was only getting battered.
Those hooks looked like they could ko a bull. I hope he enters into the tournament

And he needs to work on that jab. It is average at the moment, but could become an important weapon for him. He's got potential and I think he needs to go back to training in the US for the Briedis fight.

People can criticize Kudryashov but there aren't many CWs out there as tough as Durodola or who are going to be able to withstand the kind of power Kudryashov wields in both fists.

Kudrayshov seemed gassed and maybe punched out part way through the 5th. He was lucky his power bailed him out. He sure needs to work on his patience finishing his man when he has him hurt. When he hurts or knocks down his opponent he just gets sloppier. After Durdola was knocked down he got up and had his best success.
