If Pirog comes back from his back injury this would be a super fight in Russia, who do you reckon would win?
If Pirog is at his best I'd say Pirog. Though Korobov is too inactive to make a proper judgement he could be better than Pirog, it'd be a close fight
Man, too damn close to call. Here's wishin' Pirog comes back. (Rumours suggest he might not) and Korobov starts getting some proper fights. I think his three round destruction of Ossie Duran indicates that he understands he needs to fight more aggressivly a la Golovkin (and wasn't the livershot almost as beautiful as GGGs) if he wants the pro recognition. For me tho Pirogs natural physique and intuitive flair for fighting might not handle what amounts to the elite in technical ability in Korobov. Korobov ain't gonna leave the gaps for Pirog to exploit in the way that say a Jacobs did. Still a fight I'd love to see.
