Kovalev is coming back to MSG in July I believe but there is no talk of him unifying. Would not suprise me if they had Bivol back on that same card again and Joe Smith jr faced one of them.

The possibility of WBSS LHW tourney starting this Fall/Winter should also be considered so it becomes even more unlikely eith guy is put in tough this Summer.

Actually, after the Mikhalkin fight Kathy Duva did say that they want Joe Smith Jr. as the next opponent for Kovalev.

Hey that's an AWESOME story. We need to use the boxing24-7 forum to start a "Get Joe Millionaire a title shot" campaign.

PS, I think Browne is higher in line for Beterbiev.

Would like to see Bivol fight the winner of Stevenson/Jack.................Barrera refused to fight Kovalev, thought Bivol would be an easy fight, well, he got fooled! Stevenson has refused to fight Kovalev for years, I am sure Jack will not fight him either............

Well, they've officially made Kovalev vs. Browne for June 23rd, so he's out.

So, uh, bring on Smith Jr., or Fonfara, or Yarde, or...Fournier, I guess. :nusenuse:

Goes to show how just a few monkey wrenches (be they politics, or just unavailability due to innocent factors like scheduling or injuries) can make the options in even a red-hot division seem like slim pickings.

Damn right he would, Farmy! You don't he's getting within 100 miles of that green belt, though, do you?

Whoever possesses it, Stevenson or Jack, after they meet will probably then have a trilogy with Fournier.

It would be better if he fought someone boxing fans are familiar with, so to have more viewers and raise his profile.

Alvarez, Smith, or Fonfara would be better than someone less known like Fournier.
